Temporary Post > Postema Inquiry

I am not a stockholder of the Postema Resort, but I can assure you that your stay will be great (proven certified Postema addict). The sad part is that it becomes crowded during peak season (just like any other resort like Volets in Dasma). Nevertheless, you can contact them to check if they have schedules for company outings since most of the time the resort is one of the summer destinations for big firms. Things to consider 1. They allow you to bring food from outside. 2. Alcoholic beverage is a no no! No limit.. wahehe, pede po magpasok. 3. Me rooms na pede rent for overnight (better reserve early). 4. Me Videoke 5. Me ihawan 6. Free use of tables and chairs

You can find below the address and contact information of the Hardin ng Postema Resort plus the link to the multiply account of the grandson of the owner. (I just google searched, he doesn’t know me at all)

Well, let’s just get sentimental for a while. This song is dedicated especially to those people who are away in distant land, who at the moment seek guidance, wisdom and contentment in whatever endeavors that they are into right now. Let us remember that life is a constant journey. You’ll never know for sure where it will take you. Also, to the job-seekers out there who haven’t found a suitable job yet, don’t be too picky! (I am referring to the job-seekers of course either way it can be for employers tooJ). Nevertheless, if you think you have the ‘edge’ and can demand for a higher pay, then go for it!

Pagsubok

Isip mo'y litung-lito
Sa mga panahong nais mong maaliw
Bakit ba ang bumabalakid
Ay ang 'yong mundong ginagalawan

Ang buhay ay sadyang ganyan
Suliranin 'di mapigilan
Itanim mo lang sa iyong puso
Kaya mo 'yan

CHORUS
Pagkabigo't alinlangan
Gumugulo sa isipan ('wag mong isuko)
Mga pagsubok lamang 'yan (at 'yong labanan)
'Wag mong itigil ang laban
'Wag mong isuko at 'yong labanan

Huwag mong isiping ikaw lamang
Ang may madilim na kapalaran
Ika'y hindi tatalikuran
Ng ating Ama na S'yang lumikha

Hindi lang ikaw ang nagdurusa
At hindi lang ikaw ang lumuluha
Pasakit mo'y may katapusan
Kaya mo 'yan

Are you in Heat?!

Around 8:00AM (Kuha sa ibang lugar) Image Credit: Kuya Kim

Hot, hot, hot! Can you feel the heat? Imagine the mercury rising to scorching 36.3 degrees Celsius last Sunday in Manila and sweltering 37.8 degrees in Tuguegarao? Summer is here already whether you like it or else… I’m sure the SM malls are flooded again with people just to feel the cool breeze of the A/Cs. The Resorts are back in the track again, to the point where the swimming pools are overcrowded with people from morning till the wee hours in the morning the next day. The rising temperature coincides with the rising prices of the basic commodities such as rice and fuel. Anyways, just follow these few simple tips to have a cool and enjoyable summer.

  • 1. Replenish the sweats released by your body by drinking more water and avoiding drinks that tends the body to release more liquids.
  • 2. Always put sunscreen whenever you will be exposed in the sun.
  • 3. Stay in the shade whenever possible, avoiding sun exposure during the peak hours from 10:00 in the morning till 4:00 in the afternoon.
  • 4. Use sunglasses to protect your eyes and hat or umbrella as defense for your skin.
  • 5. Always bring first-aid kits on your trips.
An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure. Ingat at Enjoy!

Summer Na!

Summer in the Philippines usually starts end of March – first week of April period. Two major events are being celebrated within these weeks, the Graduation ceremonies and the Holy Week. March – April – May are considered as peak months in most resorts. The most popular summer destinations in the country are Boracay, Puerto Galera, Baguio, Bohol and Palawan. So what are you waiting for? Gather your resources, call your friends and plan for the next gimik!

The most memorable resorts that I have gone to so far… Coco Beach and White Beach in Puerto Galera, Caylabne Resort in Ternate-Cavite, and a certain resort in Palawan (sobrang memorable, nalimutan ko yung resort). Of course who can forget (actually marami na ang nakakalimot) the popular local resorts here in Cavite namely, The Josephine’s Water Camp, Cherry’s Pavilion and Island Cove’s Oceana in Kawit, Cavite and the ever popular, newest craze resort in Tanza, Hardin ng Postema Resort. (Haha, hindi ko na mabilang kung ilang beses kami nagtampisaw sa resort na ito, suki baga).

Anyways, whatever your plans are this summer, no matter how tight-budget you are, just enjoy the sun, the sand (kung beach) and the water. Always take caution, hinay-hinay lang sa pag-inom at isiping may bukas para sa susunod na tagay. Tata!

Holy Week '08

Church of St. Augustine

As we celebrate the passion and sufferings of Christ in this season of lent, let us contemplate on our sins, and ask for forgiveness.

One of the most popular tradition that most Catholics do in the Philippines on Maundy Thursday is the Visita Iglesia where people visits at least 14 Churches, representing the 14 Stations of the Cross.  Aside from the usual sight-seeing and meeting friends that comes along in visiting different churches, let us put into our hearts the true meaning of this undertaking and pray for our country.  I would definitely miss this event this year, for reasons beyond my control.
